INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)
Keeping in view with the recent changes in Higher Education and with the national education reforms and for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality upgradation of higher education the college has formed an Internal Quality Assurance Cell. The main purpose of the cell is to address the challenges brought in by globalization and to actively engage in the development and to implement the quality benchmark in all the key performance areas of Agia College.The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is formed on 17th day of February, 2021 to institutionalize the process of quality enhancement and sustenance in all the key areas of the institution.It has been functioning as a central point for strategizing various Quality plans that relates to the faculty as well as students of the institution.
OBJECTIVES:
The prime objectives of IQAC are:
1. To develop a system for conscious, consistent and overall improvement in the institution
2. To assure stakeholders connection with the institution.
3. To ensure improvement and overall development of the institution.
4. To ensure quality culture of the institutions through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support
Functions:
• To Develop and implement quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities within the university.
• Encouraging the development of a learner-centred atmosphere that supports high quality instruction and the development of faculty members to adopt the necessary skills and tools for a participatory teaching and learning process.
• Opportunities for parents, students and other stakeholders to provide input on institutional procedures pertaining to quality.
• Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
• The promotion of quality circles, the holding of workshops and seminars on quality related topics both inside and between institutions.
• Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement.
• Serving as the organization’s primary point of contact for organizing quality- related initiatives, such as adoption and implementing best practices.
• Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality;

• Ensuring the timely, effective, and progressive completion of financial, administrative and academic tasks.
• The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes.
• academic programs that are affordable and accessible to all societal segments.
• Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.

• Ensuring that the support structure and services are adequate, maintained, and properly allocated.
